Vermont Month-to-Month Lease Agreement
The monthly lease agreement in the State of Vermont allows for the landlord and tenant to come to an agreement over the use of livable residential property in accordance with Title 9 Chapter 137. This agreement is different from all other types as the landlord or tenant may end the contract with at least thirty (30) days’ notice to one another. All other conditions apply to the landlord and tenant’s responsibilities as stated in the Handbook and once the document is signed by both parties it becomes legally binding.
