South Dakota Sub-Lease Agreement
The South Dakota sublease agreement is a document that is used to allow an occupied residential dwelling to permit other residents to live on the premises while paying rent to the current tenant. The rental contract between the landlord and original tenant, or sublessor, remains intact but any new lessee’s, or subtenants, shall pay rent to the sublessor.
All aspects of the original rental contract remain the same and any attempt by the sublessor or subtenant to break it shall be deemed in violation of the their lease and shall be given notice and/or evicted by the landlord. The sublessor is fully responsible for the sublessee and any non-payment or damage to the premises shall be directly reflected upon the sublessor.
