Ohio Month to Month Rental Agreement
The Ohio month to month rental agreement is a special type of tenancy as it has no end date and in accordance with Statute 5321.17 it may be terminated by either landlord or tenant with at least thirty (30) days’ notice. The landlord and tenant will still be bound by the all State laws (Chapter 5321) so it is imperative that the property owner/manager ask the lessee for their personal and income credentials with the rental application to reduce the chances of a future eviction. Once the tenant is approved, the form should be filled-in with both parties’ information and signed after all negotiations have been agreed upon.
Identification (Statute 5321.18) – The landlord must inform the tenant of their information, along with any manager(s) or agent(s), including any addresses and telephone numbers.
